About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Host, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences in our restaurants. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Responsibilities- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience
- Manage the host stand, review the reservation book, and make recommendations for table sections' setup
- Ensure the cleanliness of each section of the restaurants and make necessary improvements
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and restaurant information
- One to two years of previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet, preferably in a luxury hotel
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
- Strong communication skills and administrative skills
- Working knowledge of open table and a strong command of the English language
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork, with a current Serving it Right certificate
