As a key member of our transportation operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across various routes. Your commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction will be paramount in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and weight distribution.
  • Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, identifying any potential issues and addressing them promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Securely tarp loads to protect goods from damage during transit.
  • Handle dangerous goods according to established safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License with an Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Hold a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding accident or incident reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, teamwork abilities, and a dedicated work ethic.
