We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at THE NEW SANDHU AND COMPANY LTD. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company procedures.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other stakeholders using two-way radio systems, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Security and Safety: Possess a valid passport, undergo regular medical exams, and maintain a clean driving record, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
