Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Possess and maintain the necessary certifications, licenses, and endorsements, including Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willing to train and gain experience in the industry.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Travel: Willing to travel cross-border, for extended periods, and overnight.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent work term. The work schedule will be 45 to 55 hours per week.
