Job Description: Senior Controls Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and passionate software engineer to join our team of automation experts. In this role, you will play a key part in developing innovative control systems for a wide range of applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust software programs based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Debug and commission complex control systems, utilizing your expertise in PLC programming, robotics, motion controllers, and vision systems.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation, training, and ongoing support, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of control systems design methodologies, sharing your knowledge and best practices with the team.
Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and experience in industrial automation.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing control systems using PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
  • Hands-on experience with robotics, motion controllers, and vision systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
