About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Engineer to join our RBC Amplify 2025 program. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions to real business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems and architectures
  • Design and implement data pipelines and workflows
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, graduating between August 2025 and June 2026
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, databases, platforms, frameworks, design techniques, and tools
  • Experience with data transformation, engineering, cleaning, and mining
  • Experience with modern data science techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative and analytical thinker with a passion for innovation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, computational mathematics, bioinformatics, or artificial intelligence
  • Experience with large language models, natural language processing, topic modeling, or data clustering
  • Experience with service-based architectures and API development
  • Experience with databases, storage, and data visualization tools
