Food Service Team Lead

Subway Radium is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy food service environment.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Fast-paced food service establishment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
