Job Summary

Cherish at Central Park is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform regular building and outside grounds checks, monitor security cameras, and respond to fire and smoke alarms.
  • Janitorial Duties: Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Resident Support: Respond to emergency alerts, provide assistance to residents, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Administrative Tasks: Answer phone calls, take messages, and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in administration and 2 years in janitorial preferred.
  • Certifications: WHMIS Certification required.
  • Language: English required.
Working Conditions
  • Shift: Night shift, 11:30 pm to 7:30 am.
  • Location: Langford, BC.
