Job Summary

Cherish at Central Park is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our building and grounds.

Responsibilities

* Monitor security cameras and perform regular building and outside grounds checks
* Respond to fire and smoke alarms according to established protocols
* Perform all janitorial duties outlined in the cleaning schedule, including laundering of kitchen and housekeeping cloths, aprons, and mops
* Respond to Resident inquiries and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of duties assigned or required, including completing the communication log

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in administration and 2 years in janitorial preferred
* A clear criminal record for vulnerable sectors is required
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills

What We Offer

* Competitive hourly rate of $18.00-20.00
* Part-time, permanent position with a schedule of 11:30 pm - 7:30 am, Thursday and Friday
