Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

At Chip Cleaning Ltd, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience an asset in a cleaning or maintenance role.
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees to support social and labour market integration.
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth to support their development and growth.
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people to support their social and labour market integration.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
