Job Summary

MATSQUI PAINTING & COATINGS LTD is seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Painter Helper. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our painters with various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials as needed.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of our experienced painters.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a safe working area.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Physically demanding work environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in confined spaces.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Uniform and cellular phone provided by the employer.
