About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our painting team as a Painter Assistant at MATSQUI PAINTING & COATINGS LTD. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters with various tasks related to painting and coating construction materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials

You will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, such as paint, brushes, and rollers, from our vehicles to the work site.

Mixing and Applying Coatings

You will assist our painters in mixing and applying coatings to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors.

Cleaning and Maintenance

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our equipment, vehicles, and work sites to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Supporting the Painting Process

You will provide support to our painters during the painting process, including holding ladders, passing materials, and assisting with cleanup.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.

Attention to Detail

You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow instructions accurately to ensure high-quality work.

Teamwork

You will be working as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Reliability

You must be reliable and able to commit to a regular schedule, including occasional overtime.
