About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead our Payment Processing team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our Shared Services team, you'll be responsible for driving the development of our core payment platform, ensuring seamless experiences for our retail and hospitality merchants worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute product strategies that meet market and customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new products and services.
  • Work closely with technical leadership to break down features, implement details, and build delivery milestones, balancing business and technical requirements.
  • Build and prioritize the product roadmap, share progress, and iterate accordingly, working with stakeholders to drive business objectives.
  • Collaborate with software developers to create innovative solutions, leveraging market-leading technologies and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on the global landscape for payments and financial services, applying this knowledge to drive product decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven track record driving the development of highly scalable, global SaaS products from the ground up.
  • Passion for working with customers and internal stakeholders, discovering problems and driving solutions with your team.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and the ability to plot your own course.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Proven collaborator capable of working across timezones and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives.
  • Knowledge of payments, banking, or other financial services a plus.
