Job Title: Housing Outreach Worker

Job Summary:

Pacifica Housing is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Housing Outreach Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outreach team, you will provide housing-related case management services to individuals who require ongoing support. Your primary objective will be to promote long-term housing stability through a strength-based client-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage client case plans to promote long-term housing stability.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and community organizations to support clients' long-term housing stability.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to address issues that may impact a tenant's housing status.
  • Maintain successful relationships with landlords, including coordinating move-outs, storage, clean-up, and damage repairs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Social Work or Psychology, or Counselling, Mental Health, or Addictions Worker qualifications.
  • Minimum one year of recent related experience.
  • Conflict resolution/crisis prevention training and experience required.
