Position Overview:

MATERIAL PLANNER

We are in search of a qualified candidate with a strong background in planning, focusing on the following responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the availability of raw materials for production to satisfy the demand for finished goods from both internal and external clients.
  • Managing release scheduling for suppliers of raw materials and components, including the reporting of any issues that arise.
  • Guaranteeing that sufficient packaging is on hand to meet daily production requirements.
  • Processing and analyzing supplier releases using the T4M System based on MRP demand, and effectively communicating these needs to suppliers.
  • Planning delivery schedules and overseeing all incoming materials and components to facilitate the smooth execution of the production plan.
  • Providing suppliers with forecasts to enable accurate material projections.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in materials management, with a preference for candidates who have a solid background in inventory control and leadership within a production and manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience with ERP systems and MRP is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Availability to work a consistent afternoon shift.
