Position: MATERIAL PLANNER

We are looking for a qualified candidate with a strong background in planning, particularly focusing on:

  • Ensuring the availability of raw materials for production to fulfill the supply of finished goods to both internal and external clients.
  • Managing release scheduling for suppliers of raw materials and components, including the reporting of any issues.
  • Guaranteeing that sufficient packaging is available to meet daily production requirements.
  • Processing and analyzing supplier releases using the T4M System based on MRP demand, and effectively communicating these needs to suppliers.
  • Planning delivery frequencies and overseeing all inbound materials and components to facilitate the efficient execution of the established production schedule.
  • Providing forecasts to suppliers to enable accurate material projections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in materials management, with preference given to candidates who have 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, particularly in a leadership or supervisory role within a production and manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience with materials management, including a solid understanding of ERP systems and MRP.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work a consistent afternoon shift.
