MATERIAL PLANNERWe are seeking a candidate with prior planning experience focused on the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability of raw materials for production to meet the demand for finished goods for both internal and external clients.
- Manage release scheduling for suppliers of raw materials and components, including the reporting of any issues that arise.
- Guarantee that sufficient packaging is available to meet daily production requirements.
- Process and analyze supplier releases using the T4M System based on MRP demand, effectively communicating these needs to suppliers.
- Plan delivery schedules and oversee all incoming materials and components to facilitate the efficient execution of the production schedule.
- Provide suppliers with forecasts to enable accurate material projections.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in materials management is required, with preference given to candidates who have a solid background in inventory control and leadership within a production and manufacturing context.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with ERP systems and MRP is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Availability to work a consistent afternoon shift is required.
