MATERIAL PLANNERWe are seeking a candidate with a strong background in planning, focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring the availability of raw materials for production to fulfill the demand for finished goods for both internal and external clients.
- Managing release schedules for suppliers of raw materials and components, including addressing any issues that arise.
- Guaranteeing that sufficient packaging is available to meet daily production requirements.
- Processing and analyzing supplier releases using the T4M System based on MRP demand and effectively communicating these needs to suppliers.
- Planning delivery frequencies and overseeing all inbound materials and components to facilitate the efficient execution of the production schedule.
- Providing suppliers with forecasts to enable accurate material projections.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in materials management, with preference for candidates who have a solid background in inventory control and leadership within a production and manufacturing context.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with materials management, including familiarity with ERP systems and MRP.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Availability to work a consistent afternoon shift.
