About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director, Marketing Content to lead our marketing content and campaigns. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative assets that bring our brand stories to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative direction of marketing content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with our brand strategy and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target audiences, business objectives, and marketing strategy to deliver compelling designs and visual assets.
  • Apply Raymond James brand standards to all design work, adapting as necessary to meet the requirements of different channels and audiences.
  • Draw on insights provided by marketing to create powerful visual assets that leverage audience insights and connect the audience to the RJL brand.
  • Adapt and customize design to address the requirements of different distribution channels, including our website, social media, and other firm channels.
  • Contribute to a seamless user experience across all design products.
  • Work with marketing colleagues to remain up-to-date on brand standards and best practices.
  • Consult with our advisor marketing design team to build scale and flexibility across the team.
  • As required, work with outside consulting firms to lead or direct design projects.
  • Lead complex content development on projects requiring new value messaging and ensure messaging alignment and consistency across the firm.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts/Graphic Design, Marketing, or other related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ~5+ years experience in creative direction, design, and marketing communications.
  • ~ Detailed eye for colour, design, visual hierarchy, animation, accessibility, and typography.
  • ~ Agile problem solver with an ability to prioritize and appreciate feedback.
