Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Inclusion Consultant within the Children's Inclusion Support Services (CISS) program, you will play a vital role in supporting the integration of children with special needs into licensed community child care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed child care programs and families to address the unique needs of children with special requirements.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to child care staff, families, and community agency personnel to create effective team service plans.
- Deliver both formal and informal training sessions aimed at enhancing the inclusion of children with special needs in child care environments.
- Observe and consult on effective behavior guidance strategies tailored for licensed child care programs.
- Advocate for children with special needs within the community.
- Develop and facilitate training workshops for staff, parents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience working with children and families, or in a related consulting role.
- Proven expertise in behavior strategies within early learning settings.
- At least three years of experience specifically with children who have special needs.
- Strong understanding of licensed child care programs.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
- Flexibility in working hours is required.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
