About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at ICW Immigration Services Ltd. as a key member of our HR department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, provide information or services to employees, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Talent Management: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
  • HR Operations: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, determine eligibility to entitlements, and arrange staff training.
  • Indigenous Support: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, and provide cultural competency training to all employees.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a office environment with frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
