Client Care Coordinator

Location: Barrie, ON

Employment Type: Full-time, flexible hours

VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated Client Care Coordinator to enhance our team. This is a remarkable full-time position for an organized, proactive, and compassionate individual to play a vital support role within our facility. In this position, you will ensure that our clients and their pets feel valued and welcomed.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; a genuine talent for making pets and their owners feel comfortable and fostering a friendly atmosphere.
  • Proficient in managing a multiline phone system and efficiently scheduling and tracking appointments.
  • Responsible for appointment scheduling, as well as admitting and discharging animal patients.
  • Handling invoicing and billing; preparing estimates and processing payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
  • A certificate in Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) is advantageous.
  • General cleaning responsibilities; maintaining the tidiness of the reception area, pet holding spaces, and communal areas.
  • Eagerness to expand knowledge regarding veterinary services, updated medical office practices, and assisting veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments.
  • A passion for all companion animals.
