Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned credit professional to join the Royal Bank of Canada team as a Senior Credit Manager. As a key member of the Private Banking team, you will be responsible for providing high-end credit solutions to high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients to understand their credit needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Provide proactive credit advice to clients and develop innovative credit solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Credit Analysis and Proposal
    • Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess client creditworthiness.
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive credit proposals for approval, ensuring all due diligence and analysis are completed.
  • Credit Renewal and Management
    • Proactively manage credit renewals by submitting files within deadlines.
    • Lead discussions with clients around mortgage renewals and process client requests.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit granting to personal and/or business clients.
  • Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin.
    • Superior client relationship management skills.
    • Proven ability to analyze financial statements.
  • Education
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., finance, business, economics).
