We are seeking a seasoned Senior Leader to oversee lending, recoveries, credit risk, and banking operations. As part of the executive team, this role will contribute to the institution's strategic direction, ensuring adherence to credit policies and regulatory guidelines while optimizing lending operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies related to lending, credit risk, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and motivate teams in underwriting, legal, recoveries, and operations to meet business goals.
- Ensure credit policies align with market trends, regulatory standards, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee the Credit Management Committee and strengthen the institution's credit risk framework.
- Implement technology and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience in mortgage lending and underwriting within a federally regulated financial institution.
- Post-secondary education in business (B. Comm or MBA preferred).
- Expertise in credit risk management, financial institution operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Primarily office-based, with occasional business travel.
- Requires focus and adherence to deadlines, with intense periods of concentration.
Manages multiple teams, including Underwriting, Loan Processing, Legal Services, and Operations.
