About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at S.K. Homes Ltd. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to support business decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare trial balance of books and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
