About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Million Deliveries Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including income tax returns and sales tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including financial analysis and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, and team player.
