We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Lodex Transport Ltd. as a key member of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile accounts, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other applicable taxes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
This is a permanent position with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
