Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including income tax returns and sales tax returns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including financial analysis and recommendations.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, and team player.
