Role Overview:

Your Responsibilities:

In this consulting role, you will partner with Valtech managers and employees to provide practical and innovative HR solutions tailored to their needs. You will engage in the development and execution of organizational projects focused on employee experience, talent management, and skills enhancement.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Formulate and execute HR strategies that align with the overarching business objectives.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention.
  • Offer guidance on HR policies and their interpretation.
  • Coach managers on effective leadership, performance management, and employee development.

Employee Relations Management:

  • Address and resolve employee relations matters, conducting thorough and impartial investigations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Work with managers to cultivate a motivating work atmosphere.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Encourage employee engagement through performance metrics and internal tools.
  • Examine HR data to identify trends and propose solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Prepare analytical reports to inform business decisions.

HR Processes and Policies:

  • Coordinate the annual HR cycle, including performance management and talent reviews.
  • Support the performance management process through training and development initiatives.
  • Analyze performance trends and implement strategies for improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee employee record maintenance.
  • Engage in Valtech's community activities by contributing ideas and participating in events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or industrial relations.
  • CHRP membership is a plus.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Proficient communicator in both French and English.
  • Able to thrive in an agile setting with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Self-sufficient and capable of working independently.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to HR challenges.
  • Organized with project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven with a focus on customer service.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new tools.
  • Familiarity with HR tools such as Lattice, Peakon, and Dayforce/Ceridian is advantageous.
