Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed assessments and field surveys for corrosion and protection systems, analyzing results and implementing cathodic protection solutions across diverse structures.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to interpret customer specifications and technical drawings.
  • Perform thorough field evaluations to collect data essential for corrosion management and control.
  • Execute integrity assessments for pipelines and storage tanks.
  • Test and evaluate corrosion prevention systems, including cathodic protection, protective coatings, and monitoring techniques.
  • Collect and analyze structure-to-soil potential data, soil resistivity, and rectifier performance metrics.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for any operational challenges encountered during field surveys.
  • Prepare comprehensive survey reports for engineering review.
  • Create detailed sketches of rectifiers, anodes, and test stations on project drawings.
  • Document physical site features for future reference and enhancements.
  • Organize data, preparing charts and tables for clarity and presentation.
  • Compile and analyze data for the final client report, including actionable recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing survey and project completion reports for management review.
  • Support management in evaluating team performance and related administrative tasks.
  • Act as a liaison with clients as necessary.
  • Contribute to cost estimation and proposal development processes.

Qualifications:

  • AMPP / NACE Certified CP Technologist (CP III), CIP II, or actively pursuing certification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in corrosion control, including training and overseeing technicians.
  • Demonstrated project management and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to internal customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in managing complex data sets and presentations.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required.
