The Fleet Operations Supervisor will oversee the procurement, administration, forecasting, and optimization of all fleet resources at Brandt Group of Companies. This position will guide a dedicated team to collaborate across various departments and with external partners to monitor and manage the total cost of ownership for fleet assets. Utilizing data analytics, the Fleet Operations Supervisor will implement best practices in fleet oversight, maintenance strategies, and operational cost management throughout the fleet's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of fleet vehicles, ensuring they meet safety, reliability, and aesthetic standards set by Brandt.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the Fleet team, interpreting system data and reports to foster consistency and drive improvements.
  • Formulate and enforce fleet management policies and procedures, focusing on vehicle usage, fuel efficiency, and driver safety initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, provincial, state, and local regulations governing fleet operations, including licensing and inspections.
  • Maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate timely and cost-effective vehicle procurement, maintenance, and repair services.
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive fleet management records and reports, encompassing vehicle inventories, maintenance timelines, and fuel consumption.
  • Monitor and report on fleet operational performance, including lifecycle management, fuel efficiency, and asset health.
  • Provide support outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Utilize telematics to proactively manage asset costs.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate maintenance expenses and repairs, offering expert recommendations.
  • Assist in budget development processes.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
