Utilizing data analytics, the supervisor will implement best practices in fleet oversight, maintenance strategies, and operational cost management throughout the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement and support processes for fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with upfitting, delivery, maintenance, repairs, registration, fuel management, and insurance standards to maintain safety and reliability.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Brandt Fleet team, interpreting system data and reports to enhance business insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enforce fleet management policies and procedures, focusing on vehicle utilization, fuel efficiency, and driver safety initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, provincial, state, and local regulations governing fleet operations, including licensing, registration, and inspection protocols.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to guarantee timely and cost-effective vehicle procurement, maintenance, and repair services.
  • Maintain accurate and current fleet management documentation and reports, including vehicle inventories, maintenance timelines, and fuel consumption data.
  • Analyze and report on fleet operational performance metrics, such as lifecycle management, fuel efficiency, and asset health.
  • Provide after-hours support as necessary.
  • Utilize telematics systems to proactively manage overall asset costs.
  • Communicate maintenance needs effectively to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate maintenance expenditures and repairs, offering expert recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the formulation of budgetary plans.
