Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTON DONUTS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage quality meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Lead and Motivate TeamLead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
Requirements- Education
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Physical DemandsCombination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
