About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at 2807500 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Oversee and direct the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Lead by Example

Set the standard for quality food and service, ensuring that all aspects meet our high standards.

Manage Budget and Cost Estimates

Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates and efficient use of resources.

Address Customer Concerns

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, ensuring a positive experience.

Maintain Accurate Records

Keep detailed records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.

Communicate Effectively

Prepare and present food order summaries to the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of physical activity.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week, with English as the primary language of communication.
