About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen and service teams are well-coordinated and productive.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked and our menu items are consistently available.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are performing at their best.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure that our staff are knowledgeable about our menu items, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Conduct thorough inventory analyses to estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that our menu items are consistently available.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff, ensuring that our team is well-equipped to provide exceptional service and high-quality food.
  • Ensure that Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that our financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues and ensuring that our customers are satisfied.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management, providing detailed information on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen and service teams are well-coordinated and productive.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure
  • Other Benefits: Free parking available, permanent employment, 40 hours per week
