About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton Donuts. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development, to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and that quality control procedures are in place to ensure consistency.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that inventory levels are optimized.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required to management.
  • Knowledge of Culinary Genres: Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to prepare and serve food accordingly.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for food service staff to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The role will involve a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The successful candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Coffee shop.
