Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Glen-Merritt Collision Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle restoration and repair, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field or equivalent qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Replace and repair various vehicle components including front-end parts, body panels, doors, and frame elements.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Utilize tools to remove dents, buckles, and imperfections.
  • Detach damaged parts and install new components through bolting or welding.
  • Repair or substitute interior vehicle elements as necessary.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment.
Experience Required
  • Proficient in working with body components.
Work Environment

  • Physical stamina for bending, crouching, and kneeling.
