Job Title: Tile Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Fitter to join our team at BIRLA CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and fitting tiles for various projects, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and measure surfaces: Ensure accurate measurements and markings for tile installation.
  • Align and straighten tiles: Use precision tools to achieve perfect alignment and straightness.
  • Cut and fit tiles: Utilize hand and power cutting tools to cut tiles to size and fit them around obstacles and openings.
  • Pack and remove grout: Apply and remove grout to create a seamless finish.
  • Remove and replace tiles: Replace damaged or cracked tiles with new ones.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles: Create decorative designs using mosaic tiles.
  • Cut, surface, and polish marble and granite: Prepare and install high-end materials.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work site environment: Dusty.
  • Physical demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail: High level of attention to detail required.
  • Team player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
