Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile vendor statements and invoices
  • Code and assign invoices to applicable departments for approval
  • Reconcile vendor ledgers and apply entries
  • Process cheque payments and communicate with vendors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payable transactions
  • Assist in the implementation of a paperless environment

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and internet
  • Experience with a computerized accounting system

What We Offer:

  • Annual salary range of $42,000-$45,000 per year based on experience
