Accounts Payable Clerk Job Summary

As an Accounts Payable Clerk at Sonova, you will play a vital role in the company's financial operations. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for processing daily emails and AP-related mail, coding invoices, and reconciling vendor statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage daily AP-related tasks, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  • Code and assign invoices to applicable departments for approval, maintaining accurate records and tracking.
  • Reconcile vendor statements to balances in vendor ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Apply entries in vendor ledgers and post adjusting journal entries, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Process cheque payments and communicate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve payable-related issues.
  • Maintain meticulous organization of payable-related documents, including tracking sheets and utility account management.
Requirements:
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Excellent time management skills and capacity to prioritize tasks, assessing situations to determine urgency.
  • Discretion due to involvement with confidential information.
What We Offer:
  • Annual salary ranging from $42,000 to $45,000 per year, based on experience.
