About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observation and Recording: Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Patient Care: Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
  • Education and Support: Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Licensure: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
