Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and assess human resources policies and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to management and staff regarding human resources policies, benefits, and collective agreements.
  • Conduct research and prepare job classifications, descriptions, and compensation structures.
  • Manage employee benefits, equity programs, and other HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate performance management and appraisal systems.
  • Develop and oversee communication strategies within the organization.
  • Prepare detailed reports on HR activities and metrics.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise HR staff.
  • Collaborate with management, union representatives, and HR consultants.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Recommend enhancements to operational methods and procedures.
  • Oversee daily HR operations and ensure efficiency.
  • Develop and implement programs that foster the growth and development of employees.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of a team of 3-4 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with electronic communication and internet research.
Security Requirements

Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
