Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

At the Federal Bridge Corporation Limited (FBCL), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on a range of HR programs, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide program leadership, due diligence, and business support in various areas of HR, including recruitment and onboarding, community partnerships, leave support, return to work, job descriptions, end of employment, and employee recognition programs.
  • Build effective working relationships with employees and people leaders, providing advice and guidance on HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Administer, report, and monitor occupational and non-occupational injuries, illnesses, accidents, and leaves.
  • Assist in maintaining accuracy of the Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Human Resources normally acquired through post-secondary education.
  • Sound knowledge and broad understanding of employment laws and legislations, of Human Resources challenges and trends.
  • Proficient skills and experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
