Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

At Ram Plastics Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs that support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee development and growth.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective team management and performance.
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
