The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Information Technology to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the use of information technology across our organization. Your primary objective will be to develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Provide technology vision and leadership for the IT Department.
  2. Develop strategic plans that utilize information technology and align with the goals of the business.
  3. Recommend and implement optimal technology to streamline all internal operations and optimize their strategic benefits.
  4. Assess all areas of IT services and skill regarding outsourcing versus in-house delivery.
  5. Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience, both internal and external.
  6. Plan the implementation of new and existing systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
  7. Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.
  8. Oversee the technological infrastructure (network and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.
  9. Develop and administer best practices for master data management.
  10. Lead and direct IT-related projects.
  11. Further expand policies and procedures and review existing documentation.
  12. Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.
  13. Analyze the cost, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and recommend actions.
  14. Lead and develop IT personnel to ensure the needs of the business are met.

Selection Criteria Include:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline.
  2. 10+ years progressively senior experience in IT leadership.
  3. Experience in manufacturing with multiple locations.
  4. Experience in designing/developing IT systems and implementation.
  5. Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
  6. Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
