Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Vice-President to join our team at the Children's Institute of Development and Advancement Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs, as well as overseeing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success
    • Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives
  • Departmental Management
    • Oversee the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
    • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Talent Management
    • Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to drive business success
    • Delegate authority and create optimum working conditions to ensure high performance
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Work under pressure with tight deadlines
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient in interpersonal skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Flexibility, judgement, and initiative
    • Proactive and a team player with strong values and ethics
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
    • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week
    • Language of work: English
