Role Overview

Your Responsibilities:

As a Personal Lines Sales Broker, reporting to the Sales & Service Assistant Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing client needs to enhance existing offerings, which involves creating outreach strategies, introducing innovative products, and providing quotes for personal insurance solutions.
  • Generating sales by establishing connections and nurturing relationships with potential clients, responding to inquiries, following up on previous communications, and engaging with leads.
  • Fostering a trustworthy atmosphere that encourages new sales and the retention of current clients.
  • Contributing both collaboratively and independently to enhance overall business performance.
  • Taking ownership of customer inquiries and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Processing account modifications accurately, maintaining thorough customer records, drafting correspondence, and ensuring follow-up documentation is complete.
  • Addressing complex insurance inquiries by leveraging all available resources until resolution is achieved.
  • Keeping an updated client management system and promptly addressing all client communications.
  • Maintaining detailed logs of quotes, sales, workdays, and other metrics for monthly reporting.
  • Staying informed about company underwriting standards and market changes.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary.
Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid RIBO license.
  • Additional national licensing is a plus.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in personal lines, including automobile and property insurance.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive approach to customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with preference for candidates familiar with Epic, Salesforce, and company portals.
