Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Montanas Orangeville. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Dependability, judgement, and reliability, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
