We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Montanas Orangeville. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and maintaining inventory and records.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Order supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and effective use.
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
