We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Deerhurst Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our resort's culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that their dining experiences are memorable and enjoyable.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Work Setting: Remote location, hotel, motel, resort
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, time management
